2012

Now that it's quickly coming to an end I have no idea where to start with the whirlwind that was 2012.

Words are not my forte so I think it's best that I just share an image.

This was one of the last images I photographed this past wedding season and it kind of sums it all up for me. All the planning, all the emails, all the phone calls and meetings. The pursuit of the action and the angle. The subconscious stream of technical adjustments and the scramble to stay ahead of the moment.

And then it all stops, the shutter clicks, and we all realize why we're there in the first place.

Thank you to Rachel and Jeff for that moment. Thank you to all of my clients this year, and to all of you before that, for letting me be a part of something so special.
