McIntosh Family / Biltmore Estate

For years I resisted thoughtful offers from several of my local photographer friends to photograph my family. Ostensibly because I didn't want to somehow "play favorites" but more accurately because I REALLY didn't want to have to be on the other side of the camera.

I don't recall how it occurred exactly but when Rachael asked me if I wanted to do a session swap I simply agreed. Initially I was too busy to think it through but considering how long it took us to find even an hour for a quick shoot I had plenty of time to change my mind...and I'm glad I didn't.

So here's the McIntosh family.
