Alex + Brian / Biltmore Estate Wedding / A Review
I posted this to my Facebook page but I wanted to have it here as well. As you can probably tell by all the smiles, Alex and Brian's wedding was a lot of fun and I can't wait to get it on the blog. At the same time however, it was also a ton of work. Work that I'm absolutely thrilled to have...but I'll get to that.
First though, I just wanted to say that despite the physical "wedding hangover" that only wedding photographers can understand, the actual photography is the "easy" part. It is a wonderful thing to zip away to a beautiful location full of happy people celebrating the love of two of the most important people in their lives week after week. And those two people...wow, I just can't even explain how awesome my clients' have been over the years...it's been truly incredible and humbling.
Anyway, back to the work, I'm getting sidetracked by the fun yet again! The time involved in emails, phone calls, checklists, and meetings somewhat describes what it takes to make sure everything is in order before the wedding day. But even more time consuming than that, and arguably much more important, is the time involved in post production to make sure the once in a lifetime moments that I've captured on the wedding day look timeless yet artistic.
I have started compiling some of the thoughtful notes, emails, and web reviews here because I want you all to know how hard I work for my clients. For some reason prompt communication and attention to detail (from start to finish) don't show up in as many "What To Look For In Your Wedding Photographer" lists as they should.
I didn't just decide to be a wedding photographer because it looked fun. I work hard to be a wedding photographer because I love everything about photography AND I get notes like this, from people like Alex and Brian, and it makes all the rest of it worth it.
"Jeremy is the BEST!!! He is an incredibly talented photographer and our wedding pictures perfectly capture our special day. SO beautiful!! We will cherish these images for the rest of our lives. He is so easy to work with too! My husband and I hate posing for pictures but Jeremy always put us at ease and constantly had us laughing. His photographs are always very natural and genuine. He is truly one of a kind." - Alex + Brian (Posted on WeddingWire)
